Perry Como made some of the best Christmas albums & this is the best of the best.W J Simmons
It makes for nice background music, also. It brings back such fond memories of past Christmases. Anyone should really enjoy this. The whole family enjoyed this album during the holidays. "Santa Claus Is Coming to Town" is from an old 78 Album I listened to as a child.
Como can sing them. For Example, "Love In A Home," "What Love Is Made Of", "The Father Of Girls," and "All Through The Night," as only Mr. It just doesn't get any better.From an old, real music lover. This is not a typical "Pop Singer" Christmas Album. It has many more Christmas Songs, plus some absolute gems not found anywhere else.

Oh, and you'll be pleasantly surprised how much better the '68 album sounds on CD. While anthology oriented compilations are well and good, all of the tracks on Perry's beloved '68 LP (with Perry's face in the wreath on the cover) were gathered from the same recording sessions, lending to its compilation a certain warmth of continuity. Be sure and look up the lyrics to this (once) lost treasure on George T's Perry Como website, his extensive and loving tribute to this great singer and great human being. Merry Christmas. Unfortunately, it's still unavailable to the best of my knowledge. He brings back my childhood with his traditional Christmas songs. Wonderful Christmas CD from a man with a whole lot of talent. There's no effort involved for this man -- it's all talent.
